Wedding Resources Not to Miss from The Little Black Dress Revue
Wednesday, March 16, 2011
We love bridal shows, especially the more intimate shows where you can mingle with other brides without having to yell and talk to vendors without feeling like you're being solicited. The Little Black Dress Revue is one of those bridal shows. You get to put on a cute cocktail outfit and head out for a night on the town while taking care of your wedding planning - how cool is that? It's hosted by Sarah Willard of Music City Events and co-hosted by photographer Gregory Byerline at the Noah Liff Opera Center.
Here's the recap of February's Little Black Dress Revue by Sarah.

One recent February evening brides and grooms gathered at the Noah Liff Opera Center for a swanky, high end cocktail party – the Little Black Dress Revue. Created for the modern bride who declines being crushed and overwhelmed by 40 vendors at once, the Little Black Dress Revue is Nashville’s only cocktail bridal show.

With bleak weather on the horizon, the event went on and couples and vendors alike had a fantastic time. Brides and their entourage were tempted with delicious food provided by Two Fat Men Catering (TwoFatMenCatering.com) and enjoyed live music by the NashVegas All Stars (NashvegasAllstars.com).

Set in the contemporary and stunning Noah Liff Opera Center, guests travel up the grand spiraled stairs to a lobby with an entire wall created of floor to ceiling windows and magnificent modern chandeliers. Gorgeous lighting was provided by none other than Bob McClung with REM Entertainment (REMMusic.us) and our draping was designed by myself and Blue Nova Designs (BlueNovaWeddings.com).
Moving into the Opera Studio, sumptuous tones of purple and sexy pinks created a sultry setting for the evening with floral and décor accents from Belles Fleurs. Displaying contrasting looks, ideas ranged from modern and chic to soft and vintage.

After a slice of heaven, also known as cake from the now-famous Maples Wedding Cakes (MaplesWeddingCakes.com), and a custom LBD cocktail by Hamilton Bartending Services (HamBarServ.com) brides were able to kick back have a fun dance lesson with First Dance’s Barry & Dari Anne Amato (FirstDance.VPWeb.com).

A drawing for the $5000 grand prize, completed the fun fete along with a quick word from myself and co-host Gregory Byerline. All in a all, a smashing success and we look forward to the 2012 event!
