The Diversity of Regalo Design: 4 Brides, 4 Styles and 4 Beautiful Weddings {Part 2}

Thursday, November 1, 2012

As you interview planners and designers, you will find they fall into one of two camps - they either design for a variety of styles or they lean toward a specific wedding style. I don't knock either approach. They both work for different reasons, but the choice is up to you. Figure out whose style, personality works best for you. If you hire a planner who delivers a specific style, just make sure her style complements yours. If not, you might end up with her dream wedding, not yours.

Regalo Design works with all bride styles and most budgets. Their goal is to help you determine what you love or to take what you love and turn your vision into a wonderful wedding day.  To show the different ways they work with brides, check out Sarah's classic wedding and Mary's vibrant wedding (which we featured yesterday) and Rachel's organic wedding and Brandy's luxury wedding today.  From classic luxury to earthy, Regalo Design can style your dream day.

Rachel - The Earthy Bride

Rachel & Gregory's Organic Wedding

The Couple's Vision:

Rachel was a carefree, earthy bride with an appreciation for woodsy nature.  She sought an organic-style wedding with elegant touches.  She provided Regalo Design with inspiration from various green bridal blogs, including Green Wedding Shoes.

How Regalo Design Helped the Couple Bring Their Vision to Life:

Venue: Travellers Rest, an outdoor, rustic plantation was just the venue for their style.

Colors and Fabric: Regalo used colors and textures to execute the couple's vision. Colors were muted yellow, white, grey, and green.

Table Decor: Regalo used milk bottles on pintuck linens in steel gray and cream; the linens added a touch of elegance.

Florals: The floral elements that Regalo chose to execute the design were moss, yellow button mums, and calla lily accents.

Brandy - The Luxury Bride

Brandy & Michael's Luxe, All White Wedding

The Couple's Vision:

Brandy and Michael are a fun, social couple. They sought a fun yet classic wedding that exuded luxury.

How Regalo Design Helped the Couple Bring Their Vision to Life:

Colors: Regalo created an all white, monochromatic palette to produce a feeling of luxury.

Venue: The ballroom at the Millennium Maxwell House was the reception location, selected for its formal feel.

Design: Regalo Design transformed a empty ballroom into a silk fabric draped oasis with blue uplighting and grand floral arrangements. They made a custom backdrop for their guest to walk down the red carpet and pose for a photo. Regalo added touches of bling throughout the decor.

Florals:  Regalo created classic, elegant bouquets and centerpieces using hydrangeas, roses, greenery.
