If you thought the Enchanted Florist leaned toward rustic weddings or outdoor soirees, you were wrong! Caprice and crew have created all types of floral designs. I can say without hesitation that the Enchanted Florist can design for all bride styles. I really don't know how they do it but you can trust ANY wedding vision with them.
Let's take some of their recent glam designs created for chic and elegant Nashville couples. Glam is probably the complete opposite of rustic, country. Glam, short for glamorous, combines dramatic focal points with lots of height, bling and bold colors. Glam designs are perfect for trendy city venues as well traditional locations with dramatic features (think Scarritt Bennett). Purple is one of the hottest colors in glam design right now.

For the last few weeks, I've shared our first and second design challenges featuring the work of Elliott Events. Through these challenges, it was my goal to show you how Tiffanie, owner of Elliott Events, works with each bride to create something reflective of their personality, preference and wedding vision. Take a look at our last design challenge, where Elliott Events was able to create 3 very diverse styles based on each bride.
Ashley & Matthew at Loveless Barn
Their Wedding Design: DIY Meets Country Chic
Ashley and Matthew were married at Nashville's famous Loveless Bar. Loveless has a country, rustic vibe, which set the tone for her wedding. To complement the venues look, Ashley wanted a country chic wedding. She wanted to DIY many of her projects but hired Elliott Events for other projects, such as the wrapped jars. Together they collaborated to achieve her dream wedding design.

Stephanie & Billy at Baber House
Their Wedding Design: Grand, Classic Wedding
Stephanie and Billy got married at Gallatin's Baber House. They reached out to Elliott Events for a classic but grand wedding. To achieve their look, Tiffanie created 15 large centerpieces with roses to complement the chandeliers.

Whitney & Phillip at Lost River Cave (Bowling Green, KY)
Their Wedding Design: Bright, Bold Presence
How do you design for a cave wedding so the design doesnt get lost? Elliott Event figured it out! When Whitney of reached out to Elliott Events and requested a design that was simple but bright and with pieces that were large enough to standout in a cave, She didnt want any bling and opted instead for a clean fresh look. Tiffanie assessed the space, considered Whitney's desires and created a bold concept that was clean and striking in the dark, natural space.

As an all-inclusive planning company, the Elliott Events team is unique in that they offer planning, floral design and draping. This one-stop resource affords brides a plethora of options without having to work with more than one vendor. But, it really boils down to whether the Elliottt Event's approach works for you. Contact Tiffanie to get to know her and see if there's a fit.

What is a deconstructed wedding centerpiece? Karma Flowers defines them as " is a collection of smaller pieces or arrangements on each table. The containers and vessels can be repetitive or completely different depending on your preference. The same is true for the stems you chose to use. You can stick to a monochromatic color scheme using different varieties of flowers, or use all of the same flowers. It works with round tables just fine, but it works particularly well with rectangular tables where the arrangement needs to be thin and long."
Deconstructed centerpieces are a great option for brides looking to incorporate a variety of floral and non-floral elements. Nashville-based Enchanted Florist has designed deconstructed centerpieces for several Nashville weddings. According to Enchanted Florist, "they are great for vintage weddings; they add layers of personality and textures. They mix vases of varying types and sizes with wildflowers and organic elements. Props like birdcages and books are common in deconstruction."
To give you an idea, below are a few deconstructed centerpieces created by Enchanted Florist for Nashville brides. The weddings took place at favorite vintage/rustic venues like Front Porch Farms, Southall Eden, CJ's Off the Square and Legacy Farms.

When it comes to wedding design, there are two schools of thought - go with a designer whose design aesthetics are similar to your own or go with a designer who can create something beautiful for any bride's style. There really is no right or wrong approach but there are a few things to consider. First, make sure you like working with any vendor you hire - that they get you, respect your wishes. Second, make sure any person you is comptent and can do what they say they can do, especially if they say they can deliver different wedding styles than their own.
Take Tiffanie and her crew at Elliott Events. Elliott Events is a one-stop wedding planning company that offers wedding planning, florals and event design. Tiffanie designs and does the florals for her brides. She doesnt hire an outside designer or florist. She is also a designer that takes pride in designing for any bride's wedding styles.
I thought I would put Tiffanie to the test. I hear a lot of wedding designers "say" they can design for a diversity of brides. Yet when I look at their portfolio, I see weddings that mostly cater to the same bride with different colors. I asked Tiffanie to share some of her wedding creations so that I could see for myself how she designs unique looks for her brides, based on THEIR personality and not hers.
Leah & Charles at Ruby
Their Wedding Design: Feminine Florals with Bridal Bling
Ruby is a city chic Nashville venue that fit Leah and Charles design profile. Leah loved all things big with touches of bling! Her style just happens to be similar to Tiffanie's of Elliott Event. This wedding was a breeze for Tiffanie but she made sure to still stamp the event with Leah's personal style. In addition to gorgeous, oversized florals for centerpieces, Tiffanie and her team wrapped vases, added crystals, brooches and feathers to complete the look.

Brandi & Stephen at Cedars of Lebanon
Their Wedding Design: Few Flowers, More Couple's Favs
Cedars of Lebanon is a state park that is loved but requires a complete transformation. Many of their brides hire Elliott Event to drape and decorate the space, as did Brandi.
Unlike Leah, Brandi wanted few flowers. She was ok with them in her bouquets but didn't want them at her reception. However, she and Stephen were open to just about anything else. They love books and wine so Elliott Events combined the two to create their signature reception design. The wedding style will not work for everyone but it fit them perfectly. Their look is a great example for brides who dont like flowers. It can be lovely and beautiful with the right wedding designer.

Notice how different Brandi and Leah's weddings are? Leah's fits Tiffanie's personal style but she was able to create Brandi's design, which is 180 degrees away from Leah's. If you hire a deisgner whose style is different than yours, make sure they can show you they can truly deliver a vastly different look, as Tiffanie has.
Stay tuned for our second design challenge with Tiffanie in a few weeks. Or, contact Tiffanie yourself to see what how she can help with your dream Nashville wedding! {Email - tiffanie at elliottevents dot com; 615-497-3070}

Many people ask me - what's your favorite aspect of weddings. For me - it's all about the design. I love that a bride can express her style through every wedding design element - from flowers to her cake.
Floral design is one category where the sky is truly the limit. In fact, it's one area that's usually a high priority for moms. Most moms LOVE flowers so you'll want to choose someone who can work with you AND mom to make your wedding a botanical dream come true.
For this reason, Enchanted Florist is one of my favorite floral design companies. I am always wowed by their work and easy to approach nature. Once you see their prolific portfolio, you will see exactly why I heart their work. Plus, Caprice, the owner, is a true sweetheart!

Meet Caprice: Caprice Palmer of the Enchanted Florist has become Nashville's go to florist for brides, celebrities and event professionals alike. Raved about by the clients that work with her and revered by Nashville top wedding professionals, her wedding flowers and event designs are some of the area's best. With a background is in technical theatre, Caprice spent years working with some of the top theatre companies around the country. Wedding and event design would become a natural transition motivated by her family's decision to open the Enchanted Florist in 1994. Caprice would take over as owner and lead designer in 2005 and after 14 years as a full service florist, the Enchanted Florist shifted its focus exclusively to weddings and private events in 2008 to better serve their customers. With a keen eye for original and creative designs, coupled with her genuinely warm and down-to-earth personality, Caprice's passion for her work is evident in all that she does.
While grateful for the many opportunities, awards and accolades afforded to her throughout her career Caprice works only for her clients. The moment you're left breathless, your groom's wildest expectation is surpassed and mom is elated... those moments and sometimes the sweet notes after the fact are the fuel to Caprice's passion and dedication. The passion and dedication that Caprice and her company use to continue to push the boundaries of floral design and make your next event original, timeless and enchanting!
