Sep 13: Nashville Brides Against Breast Cancer

The Vanderbilt Breast Center hosts the “Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns” Sept. 11-13 at the Airport Marriott. The event is an important fundraiser for the Making Memories Foundation, which is dedicated to granting the wishes of those with Stage IV breast cancer.

The Making Memories Foundation’s goal is to make sure that every terminally ill breast cancer patient does not pass on from this world until they have the comfort of knowing that they have left one final, beautiful memory for his or her family.

Each dress at the Brides Against Breast Cancer event is priced to match a breast cancer patient’s wish. Prices for the gowns range from $199 to $799, including hundreds of beautiful, new, name brand and designer gowns valued up to $4,000. (A few designer and couture gowns priced slightly higher range from 25% to 75% off.)

This very special gown sale offers brides the unique opportunity to purchase a gorgeous wedding gown at a discounted price, while supporting the fight against breast cancer and helping a breast cancer patient create a special memory for his or her family.

The three-day gown sale will include a VIP Night, sponsored by the Airport Marriott and Tennessee Weddings and Events Specialist Association, on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 7 p.m. to
9 p.m. Brides at the VIP Night will have first pick of the 2,000 dresses being sold at the event.

Tickets are $30 for brides and $15 for their guests. The event continues Sunday, Sept. 12 from noon to 8 p.m. and on Monday, Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is free on both Sunday and Monday.
