Mar 12: Bound Together: A Workshop for Couples in Love

Divorce is most likely to happen during the first 5 years of marriage. This statistic is a clear sign that newly married couples are not doing a very good job at building a lasting bond.

Bound Together is a workshop from Nashville Marriage Studio that prepares couples for the joy and pain of the first years of marriage. Taking a close look at each other's personalities and love languages will help you predict what your future problems will be. The communication and conflict resolution skills you will learn will allow you to prevent those future problems from becoming the dreaded "Irreconciable Differences".

The Bound Together Workshop is a wonderful way for you to invest in your marriage before it even starts.

Bound Together is pre-marital education workshop hosted by Marie McKinney-Oates of Nashville Marriage Studio.

The workshop is over the course of two days (Friday night and Saturday morning) and is a great alternative to pre-marital counseling for couples who are short on time, money, or both. The workshop meets the requirements for premarital counseling in Tennessee and will get you a $60 discount on your TN marriage license.

What does the Bound Together Workshop cover?

What time do I have to be there?

On Friday (3.12.10) we will meet from 6-8pm. On Saturday (3.13.10) we will meet from 9am-12pm.

How much is it?

$100/couple. Which is a steal when you consider you're getting $60 off of your marriage license AND decreasing the likelihood of divorce by 30%. I'm just sayin'...
