In addition to my booth, which gets my vote for best booth (clearly I am biased), there were several great booths and lots of smiling, great-to-meet vendors. I’ll admit, I was working my booth for most of the day but I did sneak away for like 30 minutes to meet a few vendors, video and take pics.
I was only able to chat with a few vendors but the ones I met gave great advice for brides on wedding trends, colors, etc. Hope the videos are helpful as you plan. Be sure to check on Monday for more trends, interviews and finds from the bridal show.

Wedding Floral Trends
Bellevue Florist and Enchanted Florist were two of my favorite booths. The Bellevue booth offered an eye-catching, colorful floral display. It was truly the only booth (other than my own) that literally woke up my senses. The staff was pleasant and the booth was super creative. Of course you probably wouldn’t use all of these colors and touches for the same event BUT they are included to give you an idea of some of the creative touches that could be incorporated into your wedding.
Wedding Paper Trends
Donette, Steve and Lindsay of Designs in Paper debuted a bridal countdown calendar and brides loved it! The calendar retails for $13 but the value of staying organized is priceless:). No shipping or tax for a limited time only. Contact DnP to order.
Wedding Cake Trends
I was fortunate enough to interview Jay of Maples Wedding Cakes (one of the top cake designers in Middle TN). He took a moment to give us the scoop on what’s hot in wedding cakes - from shapes to flavors. Check it out here.
I also met a new, Nashville wedding cake designer, Heather of Covered With Icing. Heather is new to the bridal scene but her cakes definitely grabbed my attention, especially this “mass of chocolate”. Not sure if this is a groom’s cake but it certainly looks manly.
Check out my video with Heather to see her more wedding cakes.
I’ll share more wedding trends and fab finds on Monday. Until then, have a great Labor Day weekend!!!
