One of my favorite floral event designers, Rhonda Patton, was on Nashville’s Talk of the Town yesterday. She shared some decor trends yesterday that I thought I would share with you.
1) Nosegay or round bouquets are most requested.
2) Use same flower throughout to save money. More floral variety = more expensive.
3) Carry a single stem to keep cost down.
4) You can save money and make your own bouquets. You need flowers (Publix, wholesale florist), floral tape and fabric.
5) Bold jewel tones like eggplant purple (one of my favorite colors) and cobalt blues are hot all year round.
6) Save at your reception by using candles to create “instant atmosphere” and have a flowerless reception.
7) Buy cylinders at Walmart, Sam’s to create a unique tablescape without flowers. Add drops of food coloring.
Check out Rhonda Patton on Talk of Town where she shared trends and tips in wedding decor yesterday.
I visited Rhonda’s website to find some samples of some of the trends that she mentioned above. I stumbled across a breathtaking eggplant purple wedding (told you I love that color) that I definitely had to share. I thank Rhonda in advance for letting me pull this wedding from her website.
Talk about dream team. The bride did a fantastic job selecting Nashville’s stellar wedding vendors - from Rhonda Patton and A Delightful Day to Krista Lee Photography (whose work I adore) and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Enjoy this eggtravagant wedding!
A lavish black-tie affair exudes a platinum style! Sylvia and Brice joined matrimony at the beautiful Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN.
