Announcing…Ashley’s Blog Camp {+ Free Blog Consultation} for Wedding Pros
Tuesday, October 4, 2011
Did you know that many brides and grooms will make a hiring decision based solely on your blog, or lack of a blog? When brides leave a bridal show, they look for your blog. After they find your ad in a magazine, they go straight to your website/blog to learn more. When they are searching online for resources and ideas, more times than not, they land on a bridal blog. If you are not blogging or not doing it well, you are not maximizing your marketing. You are probably missing brides where they plan, online.
If you are not blogging for your business or have a blog but know it could be better, you should attend. The 2012 wedding season kicks off in December. Now is the time to coordinate all of your marketing efforts - from blogging to bridal shows. Ashley's Blog Camp will cover blogging and how to integrate your blog with Facebook, bridal shows, Pinterest, Google + and everywhere you should be - on and offline.

What is it?
I am so excited to host another bridal blogging bootcamp for area wedding professionals. The last event, in 2009, was super successful; it launched many Nashville bridal blogs and connected many wedding pros. If you are not blogging or will admit that blogging isn't your strength, you should attend our 2011 class. In two weeks, over 10 hours, you will learn everything you need to start or improve your blog in time for the 2012 bridal season. Learn with others in November; build your blog in December and be well prepared to attract 2012 brides starting December 25. Launching a well-planned blog now will also allow you to smartly integrate your complete marketing efforts, from Facebook to bridal shows and magazine ads.
Ashley's Bridal Blog Camp was created to share everything that I have learned about blogging with wedding vendors. Why? Because I know that brides love blogs and depend on them as they plan. If you are a vendor, blogs will help brides find and connect with your business.
The blog camp will take place over 2 days and will cover just about everything you have ever wanted to learn - from setting up your blog to helping Google find it to promoting it on Twitter. Prior to the class, I will personally review* every attendee's blog and provide an assessment. I assure you, this will be a very hands-on, informative camp - designed to get you motivated and to give you a step-by-step plan for taking your blog from idea to reality. I'll discuss key obstacles and how to get around them along with how to grow your readers.
Confirmed and Invited Speakers:
Ashley King of ABG - Blogging 101 + 102

What is the investment?
The blog camp is $150 with early registration and includes a full assessment of your blog with strengths, weaknesses and recommendations. If you choose to attend one vs both classes, the fee is $100 and does not include the blog assessment. I highly recommend that pros attend both classes to receive a report on your blog and all of the advice needed to set up and manage a successful blog. Reserve your seat at http://howtoblogweddings.eventbrite.com.
Is it worth it?
Absolutely! You will be given tons of help and tools and can ask ANY question that will help improve your blog. You will get the inside scoop on what I have learned and others will share what they have learned - so you can jumpstart your blogging, avoiding many "starter mistakes." All attendees will receive a link from ABG to their site from December to March to help promote your new blog.
