Most wedding planners will tell you that lighting can transform your wedding ambiance from drab to fab very quickly. I'll admit, before I learned more about weddings and the details that make a difference, I had no appreciation for lighting. Now I do! And, more and brides are starting to realize that having a great venue, great decor can be in vain without lighting to complement your well thought details.
Lighting does wonders - making a plain venue better and making a great venue spectacular. Below are pics from a wedding that took place at aVenue, a chic downtown venue. Nashville Event Lighting (NEL) was hired to do light the event.

Here's a synopsis from NEL:
Trey and Sarah's Wedding which took place on Oct. 3, 2009 at aVenue. Custom gobos, up-lights and paper lanterns were used to set the mood for the bride and groom while their custom monogrammed light lit against the brick wall of the venue.
