Last month, we recommended that you rsvp for a bridal tasting at Beyond Details, a brand new catering and design company headquartered in Atlanta with a new office in Nashville. Ashley raves about their food but they are so much more! The co-owners of Beyond Details Catering and Floral Design combined their wedding venue, floral, and culinary backgrounds and experience to create a business that truly meets all of a bride's needs. Their goal is to serve wonderful food with a modern, stunning presentation. For this reason, they complement their catering with strong design so that everything looks incredible. Their full-service offering includes: wedding design, catering, floral design, wedding planning, and linens.
It's a lot to imagine from one company, but the photos prove their ability to produce an impressive outcome and their answers to our spotlight give you an insight into why they love all aspects of a wedding.

How many years have you been in business?
We have been in the floral and design business since 2009.
How did you get started in weddings?
Jakob comes from a long background of family wedding venues and florals. Todd has an extensive culinary background, working in various restaurants over the years.
What do you like most about weddings?
We love the beauty and individuality of the brides. We also love the delight of being responsible for the families’ special day.

What’s your favorite wedding photo and why?
There are so many but one of my favorites is all of the party favors and set-up from Amanda and Steve’s Wedding. It is the simple things that brought together make everything beautiful. (above)
I also love the photo of Melissa getting a sweet whisper from her new husband. It is so heart warming to know that you have made the most special day of someone’s life amazing. (below)

What is your service philosophy?
At Beyond Details we take a unique approach to wedding and event design. We are dedicated to meet our client’s “innovative” needs. Because we know that weddings mark one of life’s most important and intimate moments, we want to ensure that every event is a success.
What are your strengths compared to others in your category? Why should a bride hire you?
We not only make delicious quality food, we really meet each brides individual tastes and budgets. We also focus on the design of the food so along with the rest of the décor the food looks beautiful.
Who are your 5 favorite Nashville wedding vendors – helpfulness, professionalism, style?
Front Porch Farms – Kathy Best is one of the most professional and down-to-earth venue owners I have ever met. She is simply on top of it!!
Carnton Plantation – Leigh Bawcom has such a warm personality and really loves her job. Her delight in her position makes you want to work with her!
Jessica Sloane – She is so bright and her design and style concepts are stunning.
Sarah Willard at Music City Events has a personality that you have to be drawn to. She literally makes you love being around her and her company has planning down to the mark.
Dawn at Premier WED is engaging and really has the ability to make you feel comfortable. She is very detailed and has lovely vision.
There really are so many more venues, planners and other professionals that are fantastic. Nashville has been really great to us and the people that we met have been wonderful!

Does your company do anything special that a green bride might want to know?
We love to buy from local vendors. We have quite a few brides that are interested in the farm to table concept and we love it!!
Where can we find you if you’re not working with a bride?
Training with our horses. They are beautiful!
