Guru and Neha’s Lavish, Peacock-inspired Engagement Party at the Country Music Hall of Fame {Part 2}
Friday, November 16, 2012
The level of detail from Neha and Guru's engagement celebration is truly exquisite, as shown in Part 1 of our feature on their cocktail hour in the Rotunda at the Country Music Hall of Fame. For your weekend delight, I'm back to share their dinner which continues their peacock theme, adding vibrant colors and more opulent details; from hanging elements to hundreds of florals and live trees.
Thanks to their top-notch team of wedding veterans, led by Southall Eden, The Enchanted Florist (both of whom I've had the pleasure to work) and Bridal Blueprints, this soiree is full of inspiration and a great example of what can be created when couples hire experts they trust and allow them to be unrestrictred artists.
I absolutely love their wedding story timeline!
Following their Rotunda cocktail reception, the engagement celebration moved to the Conservatory of the Country Music Hall of Fame, which the floral team turned into a garden paradise. The Enchanted Florist created several dramatic elements: large peacocks containing hundreds of flowers, live cherry trees and hung orchids, gems, lights. Every table had 20 or more floral arrangements; every place setting had a rose on the menu card except the couple’s table, which had orange Gerber Daisies, Neha’s favorite.
What the photos don’t reveal is how well this team came together behind the scenes. To put their work in perspective, the vendors had only 3 hours to set up the entire event (signage, florals, ice sculpture, lighting, rentals). It took a team of 21 to set up the floral design alone!

This couple's engagement celebration was a spectacular event but based on all I’ve learned about Neha and Guru, it couldn't compare to their love and their character. Caprice shares, “they are a lovely couple; they are kind; he adores her.” And those are the details that matter the most.
