It's back! The Wedding Experience (TWE) hosted by StudioWed returns on Sunday, March 24. Unlike a typical bridal show with hundreds of booths and brides, TWE is a more intimate way to get advice and to find Nashville wedding professionals for your big day. StudioWed has hand-picked 30 wedding pros that will be great resources as you plan, from florals to food.
I reached out to the gals at StudioWed to learn more about this year's event. Here's what they had to say...

How is The Wedding Experience different than a bridal show?
The Wedding Experience is comprised of both educational components and individual one-on-one conversations with quality vendors, so it’s like a hybrid of other events out there. It’s less overwhelming than a traditional bridal expo because we intentionally keep it intimate and focus on personalized attention. So much goes into planning a wedding and marriage, and we want to help the process go smoother! We genuinely care about the whole experience for our couples, so we’ve tailored the structure of our event to fit their needs.
Why should brides attend?
Brides (and grooms – we’re also unique in that we appeal to couples more than just brides!!) should attend The Wedding Experience to gain the knowledge necessary to have a positive wedding planning experience, to discover what all goes into planning such a production, and to prepare themselves for all the little things that inevitably come up. We’ve combined practical advice (like how to construct a timeline) with inspirational eye candy (hello, pretty tablescapes!) and plenty of time to discuss the intimate details of each couple’s wedding with quality, experienced vendors.
What can they expect?
The Wedding Experience is a stay-all-day event (not come and go like most bridal shows) from 2 – 6 p.m., Sunday, March 24. If you’re one of the first 20 brides to pre-register, you’ll receive a swag bag brimming with gorgeous goodies you won’t want to miss! The first half of the event will consist of four short seminars, educating couples about wedding planning in general, décor, wedding-day wellness, and catering. Then we’ll serve appetizers, drinks, and dismiss guests to mingle and view displays with our StudioWed vendors.

How can a bride make the most of the event?
A bride can make the most of the event by coming ready to learn (we’ll provide little notebooks just in case you want to take notes!) and geared with whatever she knows she’s lacking in the planning process (regardless of whether her wedding’s in a week or a year – we’ve got something for everyone!). We have 30-something handpicked, exclusive vendors who are happy to help your wedding day dreams come true, so dive in!
Weddings require so much decision-making, prioritizing, and preparation; brides of all kinds can benefit from an event like this – even the ones who have had their weddings “planned” since they were 4!
