Donate Your Wedding Gown; Give Others A New Start And Get End of Year Tax Deduction
Monday, December 24, 2012
On March 16, Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee will host its annual Wedding Gala, an event that helps not just Nashville brides who are planning their wedding with tight budgets but also the thousands of people that benefit from Goodwill’s mission. They are currently accepting pre-owned gowns to make available for 2013 brides.
I'm sure that your gown is probably still in your closet. Why not donate it to the Goodwill and help another bride as well as hundreds of Nashvillians in need? Allowing your dress to be worn again helps the Nashville community and the environment.

How gorgeous is this wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses! These dresses were donated by folks right here in Middle TN and made available to others at the 2012 Wedding Gala.

How to donate your gown?
For months you've planned to sell your wedding dress. Instead, take it out of the closet, take it to get it cleaned and call Goodwill. They are accepting donations of bridal attire at their corporate office located at 1000 Herman Street in Nashville or call 615-346-1601 to schedule a pick up.
While you are at it, text your bridesmaids and encourage them to do the same. As much as you’d like to think they will wear it again, they won’t.
Make room in your closet for your fabulous NYE frock and ring in the New Year with one less thing on your to do list.
