Down South Delights Caters Modern Reception in the Gulch

Here's a great idea for brides having a Nashville wedding or a destination wedding.
The couple had a destination wedding but celebrated with friends here in Nashville, which I always think is a great idea.
They hired Down South Delights to cater their urban reception and DSD delivered a befitting modern assortment of food, including a grilled cheese station!
This reception took place in the Gulch at a swank private residence. Too bad for us it's not a public venue:(.

We had the privilege of working with Megan & Johnny to create a modern reception at Icon in the Gulch (private residence). This is a great venue because it needed no decorating and the ultra modern indoor/outdoor decor really made the place pop! (I am not sure about the rental policies to use Icon, but it is definitely worth checking out!)
They rented a tent just in case, but it was 70 degrees and sunny. Thank goodness!
For the menu, we created a modern setup with lots of elements that fit the space.
Their menu included shrimp cocktail shots...
...herb encrusted beef tenderloin on yeast rolls, a variety of stuffed mushrooms, fruit & cheese display...
...a mini dessert buffet...
...and the ever popular grilled cheese/tomato soup station.
The station was the popular item of the evening with Chef Brad creating custom grilled cheese along with creamy tomato bisque shots.
I am not sure about the rental policies to use Icon, but it is definitely worth checking out!
