1960s Style Couple Hires JHenderson Studios for Their Pre-Elopement Photography

Monday, October 15, 2012

No matter the size of your wedding budget, the uniqueness of your wedding plan or quirkiness of your style, there's a wedding photographer just for you. Your wedding journey is an event to celebrate and capture so don't give up. Find a photographer who fits your style and respects your vision; then allow them to capture memories that you will cherish today and for the next 50 years.

When it comes to brides with a unique vision or style, Jenna of JHenderson Studios is the go-to girl. She attracts brides and grooms who aren't afraid to follow their own path.

Take Jerome and Serena whose story I love. When they started planning their wedding, they found a traditional wedding too time, energy, and money consuming. So they went a completely different route. Serena and Jerome invested their money in good portraits, a small ceremony at a chapel, and travel to see family where they could share their photos as gifts.

Photos meant a lot to them so they hired Jenna who was a great fit for their style. Jenna used film versus digital, worked with the couple to scout great locations and created photos that are grainy, nostalgic, and perfect for them. While their approach isn't for everyone, I appreciate their willingness to discover what's authentic to them.

Enjoy some of my favorite photos from their pre-elopement shoot below or visit their feature on the jHenderson Studios blog for more photos and details.
