Liberty Party Rental Online - a New and Helpful Resource for Wedding Decor Planning
Friday, July 9, 2010
I still remember the excitement we had before our ABG site relaunch. So it's really easy to share the enthusiasm for Liberty Party Rental's website, which has been recently updated to better serve Nashville brides and event planners.
Julie Hurst, Marketing Director for Liberty Party Rental took some time out of her day to chat with me about the new website and what it affords you. Her excitement was infectious and you can just tell that a lot of thought was put into the reworking of the website and they truly want to make life easier for brides who are planning their big day. The tools that are offered on the new Liberty Party Rental site will help take a load off your plate where they do the thinking for you. Julie is also quick to point out that a big difference between the old site and the current site is the pictures - they took the time to take better photographs of their product line so you can clearly see the quality of items you will get.
Inspiration: Photo Gallery
Their Photo Gallery features pictures from the many events Liberty Party Rental has worked on - from the Swan Ball to weddings, the gallery showcases the versatility and the huge variety of rentals they have to suit the style of event. With each picture that I saw in the gallery slideshow, I was just blown away by what they can do.

The highlights of the new site are some of the helpful tips LIberty has now included in each section. When you click on Event Tips it brings you to a page that answers planning questions such as "How much space is required for a sit down buffet?" and "What size dance floor will I need for 200 people?"
Inventory/ Information for Your Design Creation:
Their product list is one of the aspects Julie mentioned they had updated. "It's easier to navigate, almost every single product there’s a picture on there and a description of the product. Call us to ask for quotes/pricing." It really is an impressive list of rentals that you could possibly need for your event from the necessities like silver and flat ware, tables, chairs and serving pieces to the fun items like a popcorn stand or even a custom painted bar to fit your color scheme!

A pink custom bar! The fun really begins when limitations are lifted on what you can do!
Have you ever tried to figure out how much space your venue has and how many objects it can/cannot accomodate? Thanks to the PDFs they have included under their tables product list, LIberty Party Rentals is making things so much easier for you to make those calculations. "I really want it to be functional and people can print these things out to help with the planning." And she's right - they're immensely useful! The Space Requirements PDF gives you guidelines on how to estimate space needed for various table/chair arrangements. The Table Diagram pulls up a more visual guide to how many people the various tables shapes and sizes can accomodate. Julie also pointed out the Linen Chart "Use it to figure out what size of linens you need for tables. Because it’s so popular to tie linens, we have included what size of linen you would need to tie on a high-boy."

You will also find guideline documents you can print out for your planning needs under the Tents section. One thing to keep in mind is that all of LIberty Party Rental's products are in-house. To give you an idea of how much they have, linens alone take up 8,000 square feet of their warehouse. When I asked Julie why this was important she stressed that the advantage to working with a rental company that has everthing locally is that "you can call them up right up to the day before your event to change your counts." You also won't have to worry about items being shipped from other states and potentially arriving late, which can happen.
Connection:
When you have a good idea of which items you like, you can either give them a call, or (if you're like me and you like doing everything online) you can submit an inquiry form. One of Liberty Party Rental's account managers will be in touch with you, after which you can schedule an appointment. Julie also encourages you to send them pictures and examples of what it is you're looking for. The appointment is where they work with you to figure out and create your vision.
A big help to their account managers is the bridal Information form under the Connection page. The Bridal Information form asks pertinent questions such as how many guests, what items you're most interested in having, even which lighting company you might be working with - all the details to help them figure out how to best achieve your vision.
Go visit the new Liberty Party Rental website and see for yourself how easy it is to navigate, and how easy and awesome Julie and her team are to work with for your event. You can also be their Fan on Facebook and stay updated on new products, trends and even receive fan specials!
Thanks so much to Julie for giving us a virtual tour of the new website, we're very excited for all the new features and we know that they're going to make lives easier for the busy bride and her planner!
