All About Noah Liff Opera Center, a Contemporary Nashville Wedding Venue
Friday, March 4, 2011
Yes. I love the Noah Liff Opera Center. I think it's stunning and sleek. To envision, think of a great city apartment - stainless steel, spiral staircase, artistic paintings and punches of color. Wouldn't you want to live there? I would! Now, think of this as your wedding venue... If you are a city girl at heart but maybe don't want an industrial, brick exposed venue, this could be another option - sophisticated, stylish and tucked in a great neighborhood.

Accommodating up to 280 guests, the room provides a blank canvas for your imaginative event. Solid cream-colored walls, rich wood-tones floors, and grid ceiling allows you to put your signature on the space. Adjacent to the Opera Studio is a the breathtaking Ragsdale Lobby. What else should brides know about your venue? We are truly a unique space in Nashville. Being still new, a lot of couples guests haven’t heard of us and find it neat that they have ‘discovered us’. We try to be accommodating as much as we can, and allow you to really make your day as personal as you choose to make it.
What makes your venue so unique? What do you pride yourself on?
We love our modern feel, and really haven’t seen a lot of that in the Nashville area. We pride our self on trying to be as accommodating as possible to each couple, and have yet to have one event look like another!
What's the one thing you think should always make it into a budget
lighting of some kind. Our space transforms with additional lighting and it is the most cost effective way to have a big impact with little investment.
What's one way Brides can save money/be more economical
because we allow you to customize as much as you want, you can do a lot of DIY projects here at the Liff Center. Stretch your budget by adding custom made items to the day. Another BIG saver with us is we have no corking fee, so you are able to bring in your bar at no additional charges!
For the platinum bride, what is the one thing you’ve always wanted to see
We were fortunate enough to recently work with bride that choose to drape our largest space (the studio). She also hung an amazing chandelier that added so much sparkle. I would love to see what else could be done in that realm to add that space even more!
What would be doing if you did not work in weddings?
I was an Opera Stage Manger, so I would go back to that. It is all about coordinating, and keeping everything organized!
Favorite TV show and why?
Any comedy I love… Modern Family, Parenthood, Cougar Town. Something to make me smile.
What are you reading? or last thing you read?
I am reading Are you there Vodka it me Chelsea by Chelsea Handler. And it’s funny!
What advice would you give to brides on choosing a florist?
I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing florists and see the amazing things they are able to do. I would say meet with them, and if their product is great and they make you feel comfortable then it’s a match.
What advice would you give to brides on the wedding planning process in general?
I am all about following your heart in everything you find for your wedding. You can dress up a venue with flowers and decorations – but at the end of the day if you don’t love the venue then it isn’t right. I think if you can swing it, then the right venue will make all the difference!
What is your favorite thing about working with brides and grooms?
Being new to the wedding industry, I absolutely love getting to know each and every couple I work with. I love hearing there story, and often still find myself tearing up at the ceremonies.
Where can we find you if you’re not working with a bride?
I am recently engaged and planning my own wedding – so if it isn’t someone else wedding it is often mine I am working on!
