Krista - Becoming Mrs. Dial says...

WOW! First of all, let’s hear it for all the amazing Nashville bridal bloggers! You gals are AMAZING. Thanks to Ashley and her site, I’ve had the privilege of learning about you, following along with your big day and/or actually having the pleasure of meeting several of you in person. You’re all gems and you each have an amazing style that’s truly unique to YOU. Thanks for sharing your experience with the world. smile You certainly make the blogosphere a richer place.

Now that I’ve finally found a few moments to myself, I’ll tell you a little bit about my blog and why it’s a great resource for other brides. I started my wedding blog just 3 days after Philip proposed. Considering how MAJOR of a life event this is for most of us, I wanted to document and remember as many little details as I could throughout the planning process. I knew I wouldn’t be disciplined enough to scrapbook or keep a journal, so I started Becoming Mrs. Dial to help me remember all the things (and the people!) that would come together to create our big day. Thanks to my blog, I’ve also been able to keep long-distance friends and family in tune with our wedding plans. (I definitely wasn’t setting out to be nominated for any awards, but I’m honored and appreciate the recognition!) Philip and I have striven to keep our wedding unique and personal to our styles and tastes. I hope that is illustrated through my blog. If anything, I hope other brides see the blog and are inspired to think outside the box. Example…don’t want to budget for flowers? Come up with a different idea…like a vintage brooch bouquet! smile There are a gazillion ways to personalize your wedding. I hope my blog offers up ways to do so on a budget.

Thanks again to Ashley for this honor and also for your never-ceasing ideas and inspiration. May you all be blessed.  - Becoming Mrs. Dial

Though I am a Nashville bridal blogger, I have to give my vote to Jessica at Budget Savvy Bride. What an incredible blogger—she is so creative and her ideas and advice apply to brides with ANY type of budget. She is inspring, thoughtful, sweet, and an out-of-the-box thinker. She is growing her brand by helping brides plan a beautiful wedding, no matter what their budget is. She has been featured on industry-leading websites and blogs and I am so glad we have her as a local resource… definitely Budget Savvy Bride!
