Wed Design that Inspires: Planner + Designer Create a Chic, Pink Wedding at the Patron Platinum Club

Angela and Bruce hired Toni of Celebrations by Design to help them create their vision for a chic, relaxed, non-traditional wedding. Toni created the overall design and brought in Rhonda Patton Weddings and Events to execute the floral vision.
Bringing Angela's vision to life
Angela’s inspiration was clear. She wanted a “perfect pink” wedding to pay homage to her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha. With one color picked, they decided to pair her chosen hot pink with a black and white damask, a print that continues to be popular for weddings.
In addition to the damask and pink, other key design elements to achieve the cosmopolitan look were: low floral pieces with a step and repeat design element on tables, and fabric covered lampshades to ensure the bride’s exact swatch color was incorporated.
The design elements clearly worked for Angela and Bruce’s Bridgestone Arena wedding. The reception was breathtaking and super chic, which is no surprise because when these two creative forces come together, anything is possible. Both Toni and Rhonda come from creative families – so whether it’s woodwork, sewing, catering or cakes, you probably aren’t likely to have an idea or an emergency they can’t handle.
