How to Prepare for Nashville Bridal Shows and Must-See Booths!

It's bridal show season and if you plan on checking out the convention center show on Sunday or the Perfect Wedding Guide show on 8/21, we want to give you a bit of advice before you do. Bridal shows inherently are a lot of fun. But, before you get lost in wedding wonderland, here are some general tips and recommendations on who to check out. Trust me, I've been to dozens of bridal shows so I want to help you navigate the shows so that you have fun and make the most of the day.

8 Tips for Success at Nashville Bridal Shows:
1) Plan ahead. Set a budget before you start wedding shopping. It's like shopping for a house. Know what's realistic for everything you need before you go.
2) Plan ahead by bringing a shopping list of the services you need and your estimated budget for the category. This will put you in a better position to take advantage of "show deals" (aka hire me today and save $500, etc.) or avoid them. Proper planning will save you stress and money!
3) Wear comfy shoes and bring a bottle of water to drink. You will need it after your 3rd piece of yummy cake.
4) Print 50 info labels that contain your first/last name, email, phone, mailing address - this will save you lots of time when you enter contests, give vendors your info.
5) Create a disposable wedding email account to give to show vendors so you can receive great info, promotions while you plan. When your wedding is over, you can simply close the account.
6) Take a notepad and a pen to write down your favorites.
7) Take your fiance, mom or a friend to keep you focused on your objectives - which vendors you need at which budget.
8) Take a camera to capture the ideas you like.

Noah Liff Opera Center (wedding venue) - If you've followed ABG, you know we LOVE the space at Noah Liff. It's modern, sleek and very attractive. While you won't see all of that at the bridal show (but you might on our venue tour) you should stop by and chat with Sarah, their sales manager. She's awesome and can give you info on the space. Regalo Design (wedding planners) - Sarah and Damon always have an incredible bridal show booth that will give you a taste of what they can do for your wedding - from planning to design. They are super creative and watching them in action is like watching Design Star meets Platinum Weddings. If you can envision it, they can build it.
