Your fiance is facing a connundrum - tuxedo or no tuxedo? One of you could favor the idea of a tuxedo and the other might not be due to certain misconceptions about how they look or the options you might have.

Street Tuxedo Addresses Common Tuxedo Myths
Myth: A tuxedo has to be formal.
Fact: Not at all! It is so easy to dress down a tuxedo—from using plain front shirts to not using vests. We also have plain front pants. Pair those with a tie and suspenders and you have a fun, casual look! And if you don’t believe us, we also have suit options!
Myth: You can’t match the color of my bridesmaid’s dresses.
Fact: Street Tuxedo can match all manufacturers’ colors, even the BIG NAME BRIDAL CHAINS!!! IF you have a tough color to match we have lots of vest that will blend perfectly with your color!! It’s your wedding, so have fun with whatever you pick out!

Myth: There is not enough time to fix something if it’s wrong.
Fact: We do on-site alterations on coats and pants, and, if anything else is wrong (like you need a different size in something), all of our stock is housed in our warehouse right here in Nashville, so it would not take long to get a replacement. So, if you pick up and try on your tux on Thursday or Friday for a Saturday wedding, there is still plenty of time to make any necessary changes. So, when it comes to the tuxedos, there’s nothing to worry about!
Myth: All tuxedos are hot, heavy, and uncomfortable.
Fact: Tuxedos have a came a long way since “your daddy’s tuxedo” They make suits and tuxes in a lighter fabric, which makes the tuxedos more breathable and prefect for those summer weddings!! We often have people complement us on how comfortable our tuxes are. So give it a try! Also the shoes are much more comfy!!!

Myth:You have to use a big chain to get a good deal.
Fact: Family Owned is always better!!! Since we are a family owned company we are able to offer amazing deals and have competitive prices.
Myth: I have to pick out of a catalog.
Fact: NO!!! We own all of our merchandise and it is housed right here in Nashville!! So when you come to one of locations and pick out your tuxedos we can have you try them on. You can see and feel what you will be getting!!! Now that is pretty amazing!!!
Myth: You can’t use a local company because you have out-of-town groomsmen.
If a member of your wedding party lives out of town, they can get measured at any tuxedo shop and just call, email, or fax the measurements to us. You can also enter them through our website. It is that simple!!! Fact: Then they can try it on when they get into town for the wedding!

Myth: We don’t want to use black.
Fact: We have many different colors of suits and tuxedos. We have two different greys—both light and dark—as well as tan, ivory, white, brown, navy, and, of course, black. Come in and see our color options for yourself!
