My Favorite Finds from Unveiled: the Nashville Lifestyles Weddings Showcase
Thursday, February 24, 2011
If a wedding show takes place and there was no photographer to capture it, did it really take place? Not in my book! That almost happened a few weeks ago when I attended the Unveiled Bridal event presented by Nashville Lifestyles Weddings. I headed to the show with nothing more than my blackberry and just hoped to find a great photographer willing to take pictures to share with you.
Luckily, I found Donice and Sean of Wedlock Images, who'd I only met virtually but at least we'd met before I started asking for favors:). They said yes and now you can enjoy the show as I did!
My Favorite Wedding Find: A Sweet Sweetheart Table...
A Magical Affair had the prettiest booth at the show! Courtney of A Magical Affair {wedding planning company} teamed with Jennifer of Reveal Event Style {event stylist) to create this romantic sweetheart table. You can't see all of the details below but it was great wedding candy. The functional swing can be used and decorated at your wedding for guests/pictures or just to add great flair. The table was a unique, unexpected shape (which is better than a typical square or circle). I loved it, brides and moms loved it too! If you are not familar with Courtney or Jennifer - both should be added to your consideration list because they work well together or separate for your planning and signature design needs.

Other Great Wedding Finds...
The bridal show was held at aVenue, which is a VERY popular wedding venue that I've featured many times so I couldnt wait to see the space for myself. If you desire a city chic feel, Avenue offers high ceilings, exposed beams, wide open layout with multiple levels/rooms for your wedding.

~ wedding catering by Maggiano's ~
Aside from their chicken pasta being incredible, Maggiano's offers a myriad of catering options that I knew nothing about! The offer family style catering that could be great for your off-site rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding snacks, bridal showers, etc. They also have on-site private rooms for brunches, receptions, etc.
I spoke with Kelly {sales manager - 615-514-0280) who was super helpful. So, give her a call to discuss any catering needs that you might have.

~ Wedlock Images ~
Wedlock Images was the only wedding photographer at the bridal show but that wasn't a problem because they have a wonderful portfolio, are super nice and responsive folks!

~ swatches for custom bridesmaid dresses, Kerried Away Couture ~
I always like to see what's new with Kerried Away Couture. Kerried Away offers custom bridesmaid, mother dresses. Their dresses are also great for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, etc. The swatches above represented only a portion of the many options available for your custom wedding dress. Plus, they debuted a wonderful clutch bag that can be created in the same fabric as your bridesmaid dresses.

~ Maples Wedding Cakes ~
Jay of Maples Wedding Cakes presented gorgeous wedding cakes {of course!} and a Maples Cake Bar, which allows you to create cake shots based on your preferred chosen cake flavors and fillings. This is a new and interactive option for your wedding.

~ wedding design by Music City Events ~
Sarah of Music City Events was also one of my favorite booths. It was simple but elegant and offered a sophisticated color palette and table design that many brides enjoyed.

~ Ashley / Ashleys Bride Guide ~
Yep - that's me! Jen of Reveal added the ribbon to hold up my banner. I prefer to check out the bridal shows vs setting up a booth because I kind of suck at the whole booth thing. Thankfully bridal shows are full of talented desigers/planners who know how to make anything look good, even my booth. Thanks Jen (who had rope/ties) and Courtney (who as a planner had the pins I needed)!

~ wedding inspiration by Regalo Design ~
Sarah of Regalo Design has such a style and talent for event design. If you are looking for a planner + designer in one, Sarah is one vendor to consider.

~ team at Grand Avenue Limos ~
I'd heard so many great things about Grand Avenue Limo who offers wedding transportation, from limos and shuttles to vintage cars. They were really polite and are dedicated to weddings. Another great resource if you are seeking wedding transportation.

~ always a lovely addition to Nashville weddings, Phyllis Sparks, a Nashville harpist. ~

~ smores by Stoveworks ~
I always enjoy the food at Stoveworks Restaurant but they also offer wedding and event catering and reception catering at the Franklin Factory. Stoveworks allowed me to sample their fun and tasty smores! Believe it or not, smores are complimentary with all wedding receptions!

There were many other great Nashville wedding vendors that participated that you should check out...
