Serve Your Wedding Guests Your Favorite Southern Foods; Book Mrs. J Catering by Oct 31 & Save $250
Tuesday, October 1, 2013
I'm a Southern girl. My parents are from Florida but I was raised right here in Tennessee. There's nothing like visiting my parents and knowing that cornbread, collard greens and black-eyed peas are sure to be on the menu. For me, Southern food is home. It's culture. It's comfortable. It's love.
Apparently, I'm not alone. There are many G.R.I.T.S (Girls Raised In the South) who grew up with a similar menu and want nothing less than to share a taste of the South with their wedding guests. If you are one of those brides (whether you grew up in the South or have fallen in love with our sweet tea), Mrs. J's Baking and Catering should be at the top of your catering list. In the South, we're all about making folks feel at home. Food that reminds you of the comforts of home, served with love. That's the Mrs. J.'s Catering difference.

Southern goodness...
I met Celeste, Mrs. J's owner, a few years ago. What I love about Celeste is that she's the real deal. From dessert to entrees, her speciality is Southern cuisine. And for those of you who want to introduce other cultures - be it Italian or upscale American - she's willing to please, but know that she will always add a Southern twist. It's what she knows and what she loves. It's like asking your grandma to make seafood. It might contain salmon, but you will still get a taste of the South in every bite. It's this keen focus on Southern flavors and cooking methods that brides love.

…from her recipe or yours...
Working with Celeste is a way to serve your favorite meal to 200 of your closest friends. Celeste will create a custom menu based on what you love. If what you love is a recipe from your family, she will gladly incorporate that recipe into your custom menu. Talk about service! She is happy to collaborate with you to ensure your day is filled with dishes of meaning to you and your family.
…cooked with love
Obviously, brides choose Mrs. J because they want Southern food. But, after they talk with her, they realize that they are getting more than Southern food; they are getting a real Southern experience. Every meal is cooked with love, by Celeste herself. This is no huge operation. Mrs. J's Catering only serves up to two weddings a day so that she can ensure each bride's day is special. She focuses on a limited number of weddings, personally meets each couple, gets to know what they love and creates a custom menu. She then dedicates her time, creativity and energy shopping for the perfect, in-season ingredients and preparing the meals with care.
Speaking of extra care, Mrs. J's is also very proud to be one of the few food services in the area with a consistent 100 on their food inspection health score.

Savings for ABG's 2014 brides! If a Southern experience is important for your wedding, give Celeste a call. Schedule a meeting. Get to know her and taste her food. When you call her, let her know that you are an ABG bride. For the month of October, she is giving ABG's 2014 brides $250 off their catering. You must book by October 31.
