Mike of Myrick has done it again. Hillary of Brocade Design Arts said that I lean towards a certain photography style. Ha…I do! I love modern, contemporary, fresh and vibrant wedding photography. That doesn’t mean I don’t have an appreciation for stunning, timeless and styles - like this wedding by Gina Bilyeu, which I think is classic. Then, there is the old-school, traditional and posed look that parents tend to prefer. There are all types. And, I am far from an expert on photography BUT I do know that YOU should know your preference so that you know which photographer to hire.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jill & Jared this summer to chat about details. From the first time that we met, I knew right away that these guys were going to have a beautiful wedding. These guys are such a sweet couple and such a joy to shoot. They got married at the Historic Carnton Plantation in Franklin, TN.
This wedding was a little different in the fact that I actually had ALOT of time with Jill & Jared before they had to be at the reception! They actually let their guests tour the Carnton Plantation and after the tour the guests all headed out to The Old Natchez Country Club for the reception. These shots below are some of my favorite not only because of the SWEET 1959 Jaguar but also because you could feel the love from these guys.. They were now MARRIED!!
Instead of the traditional bride & groom’s cake, these guys had a huge cupcake table! It was not only beautiful but OH so good! (just one of the many perks of my job… tastin’ the fine desserts!)
