A Charming, Intimate Rehearsal Dinner at Mere Bulles in Brentwood, TN

Friday, June 17, 2011

Last month, Carmen Fowler and Jim LaBerge allowed us and Alex Bee Photo a sneak peek at their intimate rehearsal dinner at Mere Bulles in Brentwood, TN.  The event was held for 54 of the couple's closest family and friends. Considering our absolute love for this charming location and their exquisite food, it was hard not to dig in; but we managed.

Carmen and Jim mingled with guests at leisure in Mere Bulles’ outside courtyard area while hors d’oeuvres were served.  The dinner began at 6:30. Guests had delectable entrees choices and dessert options. Mere Bulles allowed the couple to mix and match their menu based on what they liked most: Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Seared Atlantic Salmon and Roasted Chicken. For dessert, the couple allowed their guests to choose between Strawberry Split Apart Cake or Chocolate Decadence.

Before, during and after dinner, the bride and groom were toasted many times over by family and friends. All of the guests used this time to reconnect with Jim and Carmen, while giving their sincerest greetings. Jim and Carmen, husband and wife-to-be, were all smiles all evening!

Carmen and Jim socialized with their family and friends on into the night.

My favorite part of the whole day is when a bride and groom walk back down the aisle after the kiss. It only lasts for a few minutes, but the joy displayed from the new Mr. & Mrs. is one of a kind. The genuine happiness that brides, grooms, family members and friends exude during the wedding day is contagious! Every wedding is unique, and being a part of it as a wedding photographer is so rewarding. I feel extremely blessed to document such a monumental day for couples. I’m most excited about bringing more wedding information to brides in Nashville! Nashville has a wide variety of wedding resources and Ashley’s Bride Guide makes it easy for couples to find vendor information quickly. I can’t wait to help couples find their perfect Nashville vendors.

As a former bride/client of Mere Bulles, I cannot rave enough about this place. The service is top notch and the food in INCREDIBLE. The tasteful, inviting and warm decor/atmosphere just makes it that much more dreamy.

We LOVE Mere Bulles and recommend their location to our brides and clients all the time!  It is a fantastic space, they have fabulous food, and the service is always wonderful.  Steve Smithing is a consumate professional and his staff treat the clients (and vendors) beautifully.  They can handle small or large events equally well!
