Life can get very busy, especially when it comes to wedding events and all of the time that goes into planning such memorable, once-in-a-lifetime occasions. Why did you decide to start Social Bliss Events?
SBE was started when I realized there was an absolute NEED for bachelorette curation. With over five years of experience in the event planning industry, this was not solely a money making venture but rather a way for me to express my creativity and provide knowledge about the city I call home. I’m a girl. I know what girls want for their “last fling before the ring”, and I can tell you exactly where to find all of the fun-filled activities.
What does this service entail?
Social Bliss Events is a full-service bachelorette planning company. We offer our clients the weekend of a lifetime. We are far from your normal cookie-cutter, pick your pre-designated package type of company. Everything is completely customized!
We coordinate the entire weekend so the bachelorette party can relax, hang with their friends and enjoy everything Nashville has to offer.
We start with a bridal profile to find out more about the bride-to-be, her likes and dislikes. Then we filter her interests and build out recommendations based on budget and time.

Anyone involved with planning a bachelorette party. Our bachelorette knowledge is perfect for out-of-towners who have never visited Nashville or have only been here a few times. You tell us exactly what you want, and we’ll make it happen. We know all the fun spots! However, those who live in Nashville utilize our knowledge and connections as well. Many girls wait until the last minute to make dinner reservations or can’t find anything to do on Saturday night because everything is booked. We have developed great relationships with local establishments, and have had to call in last minute favors a time or two. We have connections that many find priceless.

I’m slightly obsessed with Nashville, and our desire is to showcase the ENTIRE city. Most people come to Nashville to visit Broadway and the honky-tonks, but this city has so much more to offer. With over 10 years of Nashville-living, our team knows the city inside and out. We know the swankiest hotels, menus that will make your taste buds salivate, the nighttime hot spots, and we’re full of ideas to make your weekend one you can’t stop talking about. Did we mention that we ALWAYS inform our clients of what’s happening around town during their stay? We give them the option to incorporate Nashville the same way the locals do.
SBE takes PRIDE in what we do. We test out each restaurant, venue, hotel, etc. before sending our clients there. If we wouldn’t frequent the establishment, then we wouldn’t dare send you. All of our Nashville recommendations have been tested and SBE-APPROVED!
No two bachelorette parties are the same! It’s 2014. Bachelorette parties have moved from a one-night shindig to weekend extravaganzas. Bachelorette Party Tips from Social Bliss Events:
1. Make it about the bride-to-be! Even if she wants to go bowling dressed in 80’s attire (while it may not be YOUR idea of fun) this is HER weekend!
2. Take charge! Have you ever tried to get 10 girls flying in from all across the United Sates to give you their itinerary? If not, you’re in for a treat! It’s a process to make sure everyone knows what is going on and how much each activity will cost. However, someone (most likely the MOH) has to step up to the plate and organize the weekend. If this sounds daunting, contact us! :)
3. Plan in advance! The earlier you book reservations, the better! We recommend booking hotels a couple months in advance, shortly followed by dining reservations and extracurricular activities (pole dancing, photographers, t-shirts, koozies, etc.). The sooner you get everything ordered and finalized, the better! Don’t wait until the last minute and have to call us to bail you out! Of course, we’ll help you out because we want everyone to experience an AMAZING time in Nashville -- but avoid raising your blood pressure!

Throwing a bridal shower is an exciting event for many bridal party members, mothers, family members and friends. The engagement period can fly by in a whirlwind, and having a few hours to slow down and celebrate the bride and her new life ahead is important.
With many family members and friends living in different areas of the country, it can sometimes be tricky to determine a convenient location for the shower. Even when the guests are all in town, not everyone has a space at home large enough to host this type of event. Luckily, the stunning Noah Liff Opera Center now offers a Sunday afternoon package for bridal showers, planned by the team at Music City Events.

This is a fantastic option for any Nashville bride, and especially for out-of-town guests who are hosting a Nashville bride’s shower. As the logistics are taken care of, an out-of-town mother or maid-of-honor would certainly benefit from the expertise that award-winning Music City Events can provide.
I recently spoke to Sarah Willard from Music City Events about Noah Liff's Sunday afternoon bridal shower package. For more information on this stress-free option, check out my interview below.
- What can you tell us about the new bridal shower option?
Our bridal shower option includes the Swennson Patron's Room and Bovender Grand Entrance which can seat 30 or be a mixer style event for up to 60 guests. It includes tables, chairs, set up and breakdown, cleaning, and a venue manager onsite to assist with load in and load out. It includes three hours of "shower time" along with two hours for set up and an hour for break down. The six hour block is of each client's choosing!
- Does this include planning the bridal shower and/or decor?
This package does not include decor, but Music City Events can help with options you may be interested in. Our team also makes sure that there is a manager onsite who can handle any challenges that may arise. We can also help with planning a timeline for the bridal shower, if needed.
- Is this something that can be added to a wedding package at the Noah Liff Opera Center?
Yes, the bridal shower can be added to Noah Liff Opera Center weddings. There is a $250 discount if this option is added to the wedding package itself.

The Nashville City Club is a popular spot for wedding rehearsal dinners because our venue is centrally located in downtown Nashville. Our 20th floor views gives your guests gorgeous views of the skyline and our central location to Broadway allows guests to continue celebrating after your dinner.
We have two spaces available for rehearsal dinners: our South Hall, which can accommodate up to 80 guests, and our Ballroom, which can host up to 160 guests. There are rentals fees for both rooms and a food and beverage minimum. Rates do vary based on time of year but we would be happy to create a custom proposal for anyone interested.

Remember that we are truly a one-stop, all inclusive venue so your room rental fee includes your tables, chairs, house linens, glassware, flatware, china, setup, teardown and serving staff. We find that many of our out-of-state couples enjoy the convenience our venue affords!
With rehearsal dinners, a majority of our couples keep them simple with a few, fun themes here and there. Most clients love to give a taste of Nashville with a custom Jack Daniels signature cocktail or a Southern-inspired menu.
Remember that your rehearsal dinner is a time of celebration and should be stress free. Be sure to pick a location that takes care of all of the details for you so you can enjoy your friends and family before the most important day of your life.

Front Porch Farms can now be rented at an hourly rate for engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and other special events.
For events hosting less than 75 people, the barn is a perfect choice. The guest house is a great space for showers, birthday parties or meetings with less than 20 attendees. For an overnight retreat, Front Porch Farms can accommodate up to eight guests. The pavilion, the largest space available, is also an option for special events.
