Tennessee Traditions: Ginger & Dean’s Elegant Jack Daniel’s Wedding at Historic Rock Castle

Friday, July 8, 2011

On a beautiful day in Hendersonville, TN, Dean and Ginger were married at Historic Rock Castle. The wedding was filled with love, fun, and a sophisticated homage to Jack Daniel's, a favorite southern tradition.  Joy and awe can easily be witnessed in every photo captured by Mike and crew of Myrick Studios.  Mike is a long time friend of the couple, making the event extra special for him.  He not only photographed but he also contributed his musical talents to honor them on their day.  That's what friends are for!

We too are honored to share their lovely Tennessee wedding with you.

I was so excited when I came across Ashley’s Bride Guide during my wedding planning process. I had been in a bunch of weddings, but hardly any in Nashville so I was starting from scratch. It was a great resource for us to get ideas and find vendors as we planned our big day. I am so excited to be able to add to the information for Nashville brides and help them create the day of their dreams! As a newlywed (3 weeks down!), I hope I can bring a fresh perspective to all those brides-to-be out there! I loved weddings before, and after going through the planning and execution of our own wedding, I feel blessed to be able to share everything we learned with other Nashville couples!

I love the personalized Jack Daniel’s glasses! Where can you get glasses personalized like that?

I also have a friend in the promotional items business.  I have been friends with him for several years and asked him to do our guest gifts (the glasses) as well as my personalized gifts to the groomsmen and ushers.  Scott Lyon - 615-243-4774.  Even though he is my friend, I am still very particular about everything that I do (as you can see from the pictures above).  He got me sample glasses so I could picj the weight I wanted.  I told him the design that I wanted for the artwork 1 time and it came back perfect.  Most the time you would worry about whether people would use your gift or not.  We have had several people ask for additional glasses.  Kudos to Scott Lyon and his team.

Nicole: Thank you.  We could not have asked for a better day.
