Nashville weddings

Pinnacle Building Terrace Telephone: 615.742.6040 Website: PinnacleSymphonyPlace.com Admittedly, I haven't seen many weddings at the Pinnacle Building but the reviews from those who have are mostly positive.  I can imagine it to be pretty amazing given the view of downtown from that vantage point and how new the building is. Here is a wedding that was featured in Style Me Pretty earlier in 2010 which shows how spectacular the space is for weddings.  I hope to see more weddings there in the new year! Nashville’s Favorite Outdoor Wedding Venues - Part 1 {Downtown Nashville}

Thursday, December 30, 2010

The most common question that we get from Nashville brides is "I need help finding a wedding venue". In reponse to that very popuiar question, we will continue our series on great Nashville wedding venues.

Each time a bride asks, we reach out to our AMAZING bridal friends via Twitter + Facebook.  They know Nashville weddings and with their help, we can help you find the wedding location of your dreams.  If you are a contemporary bride or city-chic bride, be sure to visit our past list of great venues for you.

Thanks to everyone on Twitter + Facebook that chimed in, we're happy to share a list of goodies for the bride who is seeking an outdoor wedding in downtown Nashville.

1} War Memorial Auditorium

Contact: TPAC
Telephone: 615.782.4000
Website: TPAC.org/Facilities/Weddings.asp

War Memorial Auditorium is another wonderful downtown venue that gives you the option of having either an outdoor or indoor wedding.  Or both! The huge columns and grand marble slab floor give it a very open, airy feel that's classic in its look.  Dress it up or keep it simple, I just love how it's a great empty space in which you can decorate to your heart's desire. And how awesome would it be to have your wedding at such a historical venue? Pretty awesome, in my humble opinion!

Imagine being surrounded by nothing but the Nashville cityscape while you exchange your vows.  The sun is setting in the distance, and you're sharing this special moment on one of Nashville's finest downtown monuments with your friends and loved ones.  Almost the ultimate in outdoor wedding venues, the Shelby Street Bridge is quite the location that, in and of itself, is your backdrop. You won't need much beyond your own bouquet and your well-dressed guests to have everything look amazing.  For more information of what you need to do to have the Shelby Street Bridge to yourself, click here for the Metro Nashville facility guidelines PDF.

Blogging is something I’ve enjoyed doing for years. My interests lie mostly in lifestyle related topics like fashion, style, design, food and weddings. When I heard Ashley was looking to bring on new members to the ABG team, I jumped at the opportunity - I can’t think of a better way to stay involved in weddings than to write about them and to stay in touch with the trends and new ideas. Lucky for me, Ashley likes my blog and trusts my experience to bring me on and so far, it’s been a blast.
