Our Favorite City Chic Wedding Venues in Nashville - Part 2

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

REMINDER - The Little Black Dress Revue and StudioWed's Open House are both tonight!  You will not want to miss either.

Yesterday we shared some of the venues that, as a community, almost everyone agreed were their favorites.  Today, for Part 2 of that list, are some more modern, urban venues that lots of you had tweeted you loved as well!

You may know this venue as a place to see bands and artists perform. But some of the prettiest weddings and photo shoots have taken place there from this Tiffany Blue inspired wedding to Opulent Couturier's Eco Friendly Wedding Inspiration. Gorgeous!

Marathon Village

Whenever someone asks if I know of any places in Nashville that are truly lofts, warehouses that have not lost their original construction, and the first place I think of is Marathon Village.  Now the factory is home to photography studios, artists, a radio station and a 3,000 square foot event room where fun weddings like the Anthropologie-inspired wedding was.  Remember that one? It's still one of our favorites.

Telephone: 615-327-1010
Website: MarathonVillage.com
Email: [email protected]

Capacity: 225

Cost: $1250 ($250 refundable deposit. Does not include tables and chairs that they can provide)

Blogging is something I’ve enjoyed doing for years. My interests lie mostly in lifestyle related topics like fashion, style, design, food and weddings. When I heard Ashley was looking to bring on new members to the ABG team, I jumped at the opportunity - I can’t think of a better way to stay involved in weddings than to write about them and to stay in touch with the trends and new ideas. Lucky for me, Ashley likes my blog and trusts my experience to bring me on and so far, it’s been a blast.
