Jessica + David Say “I Do” in a Laid-back Wedding at Their Funky, East Nashville Home

I thought I'd share a wonderful, East Nashville wedding, photographed by Joon Powell. East Nashville is such a fun and diverse area of Nashville. The wedding of Jessica of David is a great representation of this ecletic, home-grown, and earthy area of our town. And with an expertise in photojournalism, Joon Powell was just the photographer to capture this unique wedding.
Jessica and Eric were married in April, in their 4000+ square foot, East Nashville home. They opted to see one another in private, prior to their ceremony, and Joon Powell was there to document this intimate moment. They then exchanged vows in front of 50 of their closest friends and family members.

"... I had the pleasure of photographing David and Jessica Ryback’s wedding. I have to say, this is a couple after my own heart. I loved their funky old East Nashville house, the fancy homebrew and all the wonderful little hand-made details. Most of all I loved all their happy tears. Everyone could tell how in love these two are.
Also, this bride has one of the most beautiful tattoos I’ve ever seen. It shows two birds sitting on a branch together. It was perfect with her dress!"
