East Nashville Wedding with a Perfect Purple Palette
Tuesday, May 5, 2009
I can't figure out if Phindy Studios attracts creative and chic brides or if Phindy's photographers capture all of their brides' creativity. Either way - I always look forward to seeing the weddings they shoot. For instance, in the wedding featured below, I just love the purple and orange color combination. It offers great contrast and says a lot about the couple - modern and edgy with a touch of tradition - but just a touch.

The wedding took place in East Nashville wedding, a revitalized area that you might want to consider for its historic, hip and off the beaten path elements. In fact, I just learned of a fun bridal event, My East Nashville Wedding, taking place May 30. Guest Blog: Phindy Studios, a Nashville wedding photography company We were so excited to photograph Brian & Marie's wedding last month, not only because we love them, but because it was finally the kick-off to our 2009 wedding season! The wedding was held in East Nashville. We love weddings in this part of town the churches are historic and beautiful. If you are a bride and wanting Scarritt-Bennett but either can't afford it or your date is already booked, seriously look in this part of town. After the ceremony, we all headed to the Rymer Gallery for the reception. This is also an insanely cool spot for a reception that I had never even heard of. It was a playground for photographers. all the crazy artwork served as really cool backdrops for shots, and the place is all white, which is perfect for photography.Ashley's Adds: I LOVVVVVEEE this color palette with its great color contrast. Brian and Marie did a great job executing on this unique purple palette.

Purple is going to be big this year! It is so great to have a little color to work with. (Brian's socks were a wedding surprise for Marie.)

Here is a shot of Marie's cool purple flats, and a shot of her using them to walk down the aisle!
These were a few of my favorites. Visit their blog to view the entire event
