A few years ago while working in Chicago, I stumbled across a "build-your-own" bag store called 1154 Lill Studio. There are few loves at first sight but this spot made the list. If you have followed my blog, you know I am kind of obsessed with custom stuff, which is second to my love of avatars. Anyway, my love for custom is over the top, which is why I love "Lill". Similar to whole Relish invitation model, Lill allows you to create custom bags via their interactive, very user-friendly website. Lill bags are made from high quality material. In fact, after I found the store, I started searching for other "custom bag" companies and I couldnt fid 1 single competitor that offered the style and quality of a Lill bag. Zero. All of the fabric is from the US and the bags are made in good ole' Chicago. A few nights ago, I sat down to design an everyday/fun bag. You literally design it 100% on your own - from choosing the style to the fabric combinations. Here are a few that I designed are sitting in my e-cart.
They also have a bridal collection (see below) which you should check out. You can have a bag party, pre-select the fabrics that you want your maids to choose and let them build a bag (for their gift) that also coordinates with your wedding. You can totally bond with them - while they make their gift/bag.
Macy Weaver (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) is our local 1155 Lill party host. She can host your bag-building parties. I'll have my new Lill bag soon and will share it with you. In the meantime, check out their site and contact Macy if you want to discuss the bags/parties.
These make adorable gifts that your maids will love! Plus, they make great gifts in general. Imagine the possibilities.
