Mac & Cheese, BBQ and Sweet Tea: You Can’t Go Wrong with a Southern Comfort Wedding Reception Menu
Monday, October 14, 2013
Lauren and Chris were married at Tennessee's Front Porch Farms last October. Their black and ivory wedding started at 4 p.m. and was attended by 120 guests.
For their reception, the couple was certain that they wanted Southern, comfort food so they turned to Celeste of Mrs. J Baking and Catering, who specializes in just that. According to Celeste, "they knew exactly what they wanted: reception food that their family and friends would enjoy."

Celeste delivered on their request by creating a buffet full of Southern goodness that consisted of the following:
Meat
Marinated and grilled chicken breasts
Pork BBQ with three sauces
Sides
Twice baked potato casserole
Macaroni and cheese
Chunky baked beans
Beverages
Sweetened and unsweetened iced tea and water

While the couple's favorite item on the menu was the macaroni and cheese, Celeste's favorite part was working with the couple, who she described as a joy. Celeste also noted, "you could tell they were crazy about each other."
