An Outdoorsy Chic Wedding: Malary + Michael Wed with Help from Regalo Design
Friday, December 10, 2010
It takes a talented eye to just look around at everyday settings to find inspiration for a special occasion. Today's real wedding features a great outdoor wedding that took place on the groom's parents' farm (another testament that sometimes you already have what you need) with decor and the vision inspired by the bride's own home. To put it all together, the bride and groom hired Regalo Design to implement their dream and created a beautiful wedding day.

Wedding Style:
What was your wedding style? Romantic and outdoorsy chic.
What were your colors and why did you choose them? Browns, greens and ivory. When picking my colors I looked around my house and the decor in it and I new I wanted my wedding to reflect Who I was and my style:)

What was your theme? Yes and no, I wanted it all to be a little different but at the same I knew I wanted it to be outdoorsy chic.
What did you use for inspiration? Really just looking around my House inside and out.
What was your budget? $12,000
What was your wedding WOW factor? I would have to say the view and the centerpieces for sure.

What did you give as favors to your guests? My cousin made wonderful hand painted candle holders.
How did you personalize your wedding? You know, I really think it was a little bit of everything. All night long people kept coming up to me and telling the wedding just screams malary and that felt great after pouring myself into it:)
What did you give your bridesmaids and groomsmen? The groomsmen got personalized coolers and the bridesmaids got personalized robes and pretty little glass jars for bubble bath. I also made my Maids of honor each a necklace.
What was your most special moment of the day? Dancing with my husband for the first time!

Did you have kids at your wedding? What did you do for them? Just children in the family and I think they danced almost as much as I did all night:)
Did you Do-It-Yourself? Or, did you leave it to the professionals? A little bit of both, I could not have done it without Sarah Goude and Regalo Design! She helped with so much and Michael and I will always be thankful for that.
If you did DIY, what was your favorite project? Why? I loved going out and picking all the different things out for the centerpieces!
