Every month is a great way to visit StudioWed Nashville, especially if you need help planning your wedding! From helpful workshops to intimate vendor showcases, there's always someone there to help you every step of the way.
This month is no different. StudioWed has another themed Open House in store for you, plus a super giveaway! Here's the scoop:
StudioWed's September Open House: An Opportunity to Meet Nashville Videographers One-on-One
Join Mary Alice and Leigh and their team of videographers at the StudioWed Videographer Open House on September 14th. The Open House is from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. and will feature some of Nashville's top videographers. This is your chance to get to know the creative forces behind FocalPoint Cinematic and McNeal Wedding Films.
Specially for brides who attend the Open House, if you book one of StudioWed's videographers either that night or by September 28th, you will receive a $200 credit for additional upgrades to the package of your choosing. August is a great month for Nashville brides! Believe me, there are more wedding finds beyond the big bridal shows. In fact, many times, the smaller more intimate bridal events will give you a one-on-one opportunity to converse with local pros and really assess their service/product. Brides always tell me that they prefer the big shows for ideas but the boutique bridal events (like the ones below) allow them to shop at their own pace and find great vendors.
Here's my rundown of not-to-miss, August bridal events. Visit our bridal event calendar for details on all of the events below:
Open House
August 10: StudioWed Open House - Meet Our Photographers
StudioWed is hosting a photographer open house on August 10th. Engaged couples will not only meet top photographers, but will also receive a couple photo made by one of the photographers that night! Also, if you attend the open house and then book one of their photographers by August 24th, you will receive a free session from the booked photographer (i.e. engagement, bridal portraits, etc).

I'm back today to share even more great booths from the Boro Bridal Ball. Be sure to view yesterday's post on bridal show finds if you missed those goodies!
These are great vendors to consider if you are in the Middle TN area, not just Murfreesboro.
I Do Weddings (idoweddings-tn.com) is a very creative, wedding planning company. Jennifer + crew always offer something color and fun for brides.
The bridal show was hosted at the Stones River Country Club (stonesrivercountryclub.com). The club is a great option if you need seek a one-stop wedding venue. The catering was magnificient!
The White Room and Street Tuxedo teamed to showcase the latest in bridal fashion - from bridesmaid gowns to tuxedos.
I loved the Lotus Blossom Photography booth! It was so whimsical, which is very much their photography style. The suspended pictures in a tree limb and it was just added an element of fun as your eyes were drawn up to see all of the pictures hanging.
It was great to see Taira of Baughman Media Works (bmediaworks.com) a wedding videography company!
Hopefully you checked out my post introducing Stella and Dot (stelladot.com/kimwright) last week. I discovered their booth at the show and it had amazing eye candy!
Jimm Wright's wedding florals (jimmwright.com) were simply gorgeous!
The ladies of Wedding 101 (wedding101.net) do a great job bringing their studio to the bridal show to give you a taste of the cozy vibe. Head to the studio, grab a comfy seat and check out wedding vendors. Wedding 101 is located in the Franklin Factory.
Julias Homestyle Bakery presented a variety of wedding cake styles, offering something for every bride. (borobakery.com/pages/index.php)
OK - I didnt want to leave this bridal show because Jonathon and I were thoroughly enjoying EVERY single tune that Mid-South Mobile DJs spun. I was jamming! (midsouthmobiledjs.com)
Encore Bridal and Formalwear (encorebridalandformalwear.com) is a boutique that offers new and nearly new dresses for your special occasion. If you are on a tight budget or not looking to splurge on your wedding gown, this could be a great option. Or, if you are looking to sell your wedding dress. (Sorry - no pics available of booth but wanted to share the info.)
Last but not least, I was happy to see Chris and Adrienne Scott - UNbelieveable wedding photographers!!! chrisandadriennescott.com
I couldnt pass up a rare opportunity to check out their amazing wedding albums.
