Nashville Wedding Venue Spotlight: Cellar One, theLoft and aVenue
Friday, September 18, 2009
Last night, a bride mentioned that she was considered aVenue for her vintage Hollywood wedding. Over the past few months, I’ve heard several brides buzzing about Cellar One and aVenue - sister venues both managed by Nashville Event Space.
I’ve recently learned a lot about their venues and couldn’t wait to share all about Nashville Event Space and their incredible portfolio of 7 modern spaces.
WHAT IS NASHVILLE EVENT SPACE?
Nashville Event Space is a unique collection of special event venues. Our parent company, Randi Events, has been in the special events business for over 14 years. Venue Management is just one of the many facets of the company. Each of the venues has been selected by the company owner to offer something new and exciting to the list of wonderful event venues in Nashville. Please note that Randi Events can coordinate special events in any venue of a client’s choosing.

HOW MUCH IS THE RENTAL FEE?
Rental fees range in price by venue and peak versus off-peak times. Please inquire with the Sales Manager for the Facility Rental fee for any of the venues you may be interested in. A cleaning fee will be charged in addition to the venue rental.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL FEE?
The rental fee is a fixed cost for the venue only, and does not include tables, chairs or catering services.
CAN I BRING IN MY OWN ALCOHOL?
YES! When you choose to purchase and bring in your own alcohol, a bar set-ups fee is charged and we will hire the ABC certified bartenders for the event to set and serve all alcoholic beverages. Please see the Rental Rates and Specifications information for more information on Bar Management Fee.
CAN I BRING IN MY OWN CATERING?
To ensure the great level of service we provide to our clients, we work with a list of approved caterers in our venues. We would be happy to work as a liaison with you and our approved caterers to develop a menu for your event based upon your specific tastes and budget. Catering Policy can be found on Page 1 of this document.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE EVENT DESIGN SERVICES?
Any client who rents one of our managed venues has the option to utilize our design services at no additional charge. This service extends to those things which involve the venue (including but not limited to vendor relationships, ordering of rentals, assisting in the planning of décor, managing the load-in and load-out schedules and hiring of all staff personnel). Our event designer will work with you every step of the way to make sure the venue is an absolute reflection of your wishes presented throughout the planning process.
WHAT IF I WANT MORE DETAILED COORDINATION OR ASSISTANCE?
Need a wedding planner? No problem! Already have a wedding planner? No problem! We offer wedding ceremony and reception coordination services and we would be happy to offer these services in any venue, not just those that are managed by Nashville Event Space. This service would encompass all aspects of the wedding planning including developing a timeline and directing the rehearsal and wedding ceremony. However, if you have come to us with a wedding planner, we welcome them and are happy to work side-by-side withthem to make your wedding day perfect!

DO I HAVE TO USE YOUR VENDORS?
No. Our design services are complimentary, and this does include access to the vendor relationships we have developed in the many years we have been in business. However, if you feel that you would like to handle the details and hire vendors, you are welcome to do so. Please note that if Hospitality Consultants does not contract the vendors for the event, you will have to provide a representative to check-in and check-out all vendors, and Hospitality Consultants will not be responsible for the correctness/timeliness of any rental orders or deliveries. A list of your vendors must be provided to Hospitality Consultants in advance of the event. If you choose to contract your own vendors, a Facility Manager fee of $20 per hour (minimum of 4 hours) would be incurred for any site meetings these vendors may require, as well as for the duration of their load-in and load-out. Load-out must occur the same day as your event.
Thanks Mindy for all of the info on Nashville Event Space! I’ve included pics of 3 of their venues but they have 3 more - equally fabulous. I’ll blog about them another time but for now - contact them for a venue tour!
