Teaser Tuesday: Caylan & Anderson’s Classic, Fun Wedding at St. George’s Episcopal, Belle Meade

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

Sometimes, you come across a wedding video that brings you back to all the moments that make weddings so special: back to the first kiss as husband and wife, the groomsman’s toast at the rehearsal dinner, to the huge party on the dance floor at the reception.

That’s how it was for us when we watched Caylan and Anderson’s wedding trailer captured by Matt of Audio Video Art. Their July wedding, held at St. George’s Episcopal Church, featured a lovely mix of modern day fabulousness and tradition (Because honestly, who doesn’t love a guy in tails?). Pair that with an awesome reception at Belle Meade Country Club where the live band kept the party going all night and you’ve got yourself a day to truly remember!

We loved the personal touches of the entire day, from the “dirty martini” bar to the Krystal burgers served at the reception to the couple’s helicopter sendoff.  After watching this video, you won’t be able to help falling in love with this couple like we did. Congratulations, Caylan and Anderson!  We know you will enjoy your wedding video from Matt and his team for years to come!

For many women, their fascination with weddings fades after they say, “I do.” Not for me. Even though my wedding was two years ago, I still very much have a heart for weddings and helping brides focus on what’s important — building a day that reflects both the bride and the groom while focusing on the why of the wedding — the marriage. In addition to my job as a personal trainer and wellness coach, I also coordinate weddings part time, offering couples both perspective and a little elbow grease to make sure their wedding day is a success. I’m a huge advocate for life balance and I like to remind and encourage couples to keep their sanity — and a healthy relationship — in the midst of wedding planning.
