Fall Forward: A Drakewood Farm Style Shoot Provides Sweet Inspiration for Autumn, Nashville Weddings

Monday, May 5, 2014

If you’re seeing red when it comes to wedding colors, or dreaming of a fall wedding in Nashville, then you'll love today's featured style shoot! Set at the idyllic Drakewood Farm, a new wedding venue north of Nashville, some of our city’s finest wedding pros joined forces to create an enchanted day that we’re still dreaming of! With bright red apples, cowboy boots and flannel accents, you’ll want to get cozy with each of these gorgeous photos, all captured by Ace Photography.

Enchanted Florist created floral arrangements that incorporated many of the colors found in Tennessee’s Autumn hills into the ceremony and reception settings.  The hay-strewn aisle was adorned with stark red rose petals. The bride’s colorful bouquet stood out against the rustic barn wood backdrop and even included an apple amid the beautiful flowers. Towering branches filled with red leaves provided drama to the reception area and groupings of red, orange and yellow flowers livened the table centerpieces.

Apples are seen throughout this shoot, creatively used as bunting, hanging from trees, wrapped around the birch wood trellis, and placed on overturned barrels. There is even a cider and caramel apple bar, provided by Chef’s Market, which would be great at a fall wedding! Signature Cakes created a rustic four-tiered cake with interlaced branches and bright red accents, displayed over red delicious apples.

All of the red decor accents really stand out against the bride’s off-white gown with vintage lace details. Street Tuxedo made sure the guys looked great in light beige suits with red bow ties, an accessory that they carry in many colors. They even matched the bride’s red boots! If you'd like to include any of these gorgeous details in your big day, be sure to get in touch with the vendors listed below.

This is insanely cute.  My favorite styled shoot I have ever come across!  Which one of the vendors designed this?

We love this styled shoot too!  I believe Enchanted Florist was responsible for the overall look and floral design of the shoot.
