There’s always something so special about a small, intimate ceremony and it’s why we’ve chosen to feature Carolin and Alan’s December wedding on the blog. Surrounded by 30 of their closest family members and friends a few days before Christmas, the pair had a lovely outdoor wedding in the event pavillion at CJ’s Off the Square, with beautiful pops of color, thanks to the gorgeous floral arrangements by Enchanted Florist.

How would you describe your style as a couple?
Rustic, classic, vintage.
How did you incorporate that style into your wedding?
CJ's was a perfect match!
What was your (or your guests’) favorite aspect of your wedding?
Our guests loved the teamwork of CJ and The Enchanted Florist to create the perfect intimate wedding ambience. They also loved Bryan Allen's engagement photography displayed on the looped slideshow on the big TV screen.
Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?
We splurged on our photography and saved by having an intimate guest list.
Now that the wedding day is over, is there anything about your planning process you feel you could have done differently?
We wish we went with CJ's first! We had another planner but soon switched after visiting CJ's Off the Square.
In one sentence, what words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?
Taking the time to find the perfect venue will save you cash, time and stress!
