27 Dresses Event - Update
Tuesday, January 22, 2008
I am super excited about this Sunday’s 27 Dresses event. For brides who have RSVPd to attend, I simply can not wait to meet you and your guest! (I will send everyone more details on Thursday when the theater releases their movie times. Promise!)
Here’s a general overview of my event:
3pm: Everyone meets at a super swank, Nashville location for a mix-and-mingle reception. Be sure to arrive early as we’ll give out swag bags on a first come, first served basis. Plus, it will be a rare, not-to-miss opportunity to meet other Nashville brides, mothers and bridesmaids. Bring your notepad because you are sure to meet some great gals, get some great ideas and meet some of my favorite wedding professionals.
5pm: After the reception, we’ll head to a nearby movie theater to see 27 Dresses! I absolutely can not wait to see this movie because Katherine Heigl was soo funny in “Knocked Up”. Plus, it’s about weddings, moms and maids - what could be more fabulous.
The event attire is “cute/casual”.
So, if you have already RSVPd, email me the name of your guest and your soon-to-be last name.
If you haven’t RSVPd and really want to go, I do have a few extra tickets for any last minute brides. Just join my site (click here) and shoot me an email (click here) to let me know you’re interested in joining us. Very simple! Deadline to RSVP is Thursday!
Here are two fabulous wedding vendors that you’ll meet on Sunday:
Courtney / A Magical Affair -
Courtney and crew have amazed me! Since she’s an event/wedding planner - I have trusted all the planning of my event to her. She picked the hot event colors - pink, chocolate brown and white - to coordinate with my website and 27 Dresses. She is planning my event while planning the premiere of Lipstick Jungle - another exclusive event! (…more details to come.) She is a powerhouse and I am so humbled by being able to get her for my event. She’s planned events for many celebrities and now…lil’ ole me:)
If you want a super chic, spectacular, celebrity-style wedding…you’ve got to call her. She’s under the radar now because she just moved to Nashville but believe me…her name is being associated with the most swank events.
Rebecca / Wedding Cake Designs by Rebecca Schreher
I fell in love with Rebecca’s cakes at the last bridal show, called her and practically begged her to come to my party to showcase her simply breathtaking cakes. She has tons of style and a wonderful personality. I think she’s super talented and can’t wait for you to meet her.
More on Wednesday…
