When music brings a couple together, you're sure to have a very magical Nashville wedding. And that's exactly what happened at Haley and John's Houston Station wedding! With hanging branches and candles galore, it was as if the decor was straight out of a fairytale! The collaboration between Emily with Evviva Events and bride Haley transformed the space at Houston Station into a winter wonderland. Yes, it's about 90 degrees outside, but I know all of you winter brides are starting to look for inspiration now. There's a chance your search will stop here because this wedding is chock full of rustic winter goodness!

Wedding Details:
Tell us about you as a couple.
Haley: Chappel and I have a deep passion for music that we’ve both been fortunate enough to turn into careers. We absolutely love Nashville and enjoy exploring our city. We love to travel, go to shows, and spend time outdoors.
Tell us about the vision for your wedding.
Haley: We wanted an intimate wintery wedding that would feel both rustic and very Nashville.
What was their theme and what inspired it?
Evvivia Events: Winter/rustic/intimate
What details were used to create the couple's theme?
Evvivia Events: Their colors were very natural with white/cream/gold and very subtle pops of hunter green and a deep red. The florals truly made the vision come to life and brought the outdoors in. From the birchwood branches hanging over each farm table to the live trees with twinkling votives hanging from the branches as you walked down the aisle, it was a romantic winter wonderland. The rustic looking carrot cake flavored wedding cake that resembled a tree trunk tied into the theme and all of the small details incorporating moss and pine cones into the centerpieces just topped it all off.
Can you share any special moments or highlights of your wedding day:
Haley: When I first walked down the aisle. It was the first time I saw the incredible décor Jan put together (and the aisle was definitely the best part). The doors opened and I was looking down a perfect walkway draped in amazing birchwood branches covered in hanging votive candles. And at the end of the aisle was my perfect groom standing under a beautiful archway of white flowers.

New venues are popping up in Nashville all the time, but I want to share one that I think stands out from the rest - Briar Rose Hill. The opening date is approaching fast (June 2016 - next month)! Besides sharing its name with the one and only Sleeping Beauty, there’s nothing sleepy about this new event space.
Nestled in Bethpage, TN, minutes away from Gallatin Square, Briar Rose Hill has a rich history. The historical 1850s plantation house can accommodate indoor and outdoor events. Plus the rustic barn provides the perfect backdrop for wedding photos! Check out their all-inclusive packages to help ease your mind come wedding day.
Find out more about Briar Rose Hill on their website: http://www.briarrosehill.com.

If you follow lots of national wedding blogs and vendors like I do, I’m sure you’ve seen all of the gorgeous bridal runway dresses flooding your Instagram feed as of late. The Spring Bridal Fashion Week is always a huge indicator of trends for the next season. It’s where brides get their inspiration from as they take the journey to find the perfect wedding dress. And since brides aren’t always the ones in the audience at these fashion shows, they take to the Internet to pin their favorites and try them on at their local bridal boutique.
As for Nashville brides, we have many different looks that encapsulate our city. So brides, I’ve done the internet scouring for you, so pin away! Here are my top wedding dress choices for your Nashville wedding:
1) The Classic Downtown Bride
When bridal party pictures on the pedestrian bridge are a must and you are swooning over that downtown view from The Bridge Building, you must be the Classic Downtown Bride. All you have to do to find your dress is to remember the 3 S’s, sleek, simple and sophisticated.
Carolina Herrera Ramona Keveza
2) The Rustic Barn Bride
Are you the bride who must have farm tables at her wedding? If your guests will enjoy sipping on sweet tea while you and your groom are posing in front of the stables at Cactus Creek Barn, these Rustic Barn Bride dresses are the perfect fit. Simplistic beauty with all-over lace is perfect for your laid-back affair.
Maggie Sotterro Reem Acra
3) The Vintage Historical Bride
If your dress will cascade down the grand staircase at Ravenswood Mansion while your guests enjoy dinner in the great hall of a famous Nashville historical figure, you may be the Vintage Historical Bride. If you imagine your guests sipping on carefully crafted cocktails a la Great Gatsby, you may find yourself ooh-ing and ahh-ing over these romantically elegant ensembles.
Ivy & Aster Marchesa
4) The Bohemian Backyard Bride
If you hired your friend’s band to play live at your wedding, booked some famous Nashville Food Trucks to cater to your guests and DIYed a wildflower bouquet, you may be the Bohemian Backyard Bride. Chances are, one of these Bohemian beauties will be your dream dress. Think flowy top with a hint of the 70s free-spirit flair.

The simple beauty of nature is one of the top reasons brides consider outdoor events. It's why brides risk heat, rain, and humidity and pray that the weather gods are favorable on their big day. We get it.
If you are considering an outdoor ceremony (and going to such great lengths to have an outdoor event), why not push the natural theme to limit? Take a look at these outdoor ceremonies, designed by Nashville's Enchanted Florist. They are all so different and each enhances the natural background in unexpected ways.
